Program Evaluation

It has been my sincere pleasure to collaborate with Dr. Sonia James-Wilson for the past four years on the evaluation of our school-based residency program.  She consistently goes above and beyond our expectations, and works closely with our team to design an evaluation plan tailored to our goals and needs.  Dr. James-Wilson takes the time and extra special care to truly understand our programs and the communities we work in, which is reflected in the richness of the evaluation tools and cumulative report.  Each year, the findings from the evaluation process inform our work moving forward, serving to strengthen our practice with regard to both support and training for teaching artists and our work in the classroom throughout Brooklyn.  Her thoughtful approach challenges us to examine our assumptions and continue to clarify our goals for student learning outcomes. — K.
